Her Insurance Agency Wrote $236K in P&C Premium (without her)
Becky Craycraft is a Farmers Insurance agent based out of Lubbock, Texas.
A year ago, Becky was successful.
Her agency was writing between $100,000 – $150,000 in P&C premium per month. She had a reliable service and sales team. By most agency owners’ standards, she had made it.
However, Becky isn’t like most agency owners.
Becky saw other agents selling more than she was. She thought, “Why can’t that be me?”
She Changed Her Systems
After looking at different training programs, Becky came to Insurance Sales Lab’s Agency Operations Bootcamp in July of 2025.
The Agency Operations Bootcamp is an opportunity for agents to spend a day at the Cherchenko Insurance Agency (the CIA*). Visiting agents learn about how the agency is structured and walk through the Agency Growth Checklist with CIA founder, Vlad Cherchenko.
Her biggest takeaways?
Changing her technology and getting an SDR for her agency.
Ricochet (a phone system and preview dialer) is one of the technology updates that took our agency to the next level. By using the Shark Tank Lead Distribution Method with Ricochet (which you can learn more about in this video), sales agents can get to leads faster and more efficiently.
Most agency owners we speak with are nervous about getting started on a new phone system. Becky said she felt the same thing – so much so that she signed up for Ricochet without canceling her other provider.
SDR’s (Sales Development Representatives) call leads and transfer warm clients to our sales agents. While Sales agents focus on Follow-Ups and closing deals, SDR’s are dialing out all day to bring new opportunities in.
After coming back from AOB, Becky implemented both in her agency.
Since then, she’s seen her investment return: “Every bit that I’ve put in, I’ve seen it increase in my commissions, [which] have exceed that amount”
She Wore Too Many Hats
After implementing SDR’s and Ricochet, she started averaging above $200,000 in P&C premium.
But Becky didn’t stop there.
With her agency’s steady growth and bringing on new team members, Becky became overwhelmed. She was wearing too many hats, and felt like she was drowning.
She transitioned two team members into being sales and service team leads, and freed up her time to keep investing in the agency.
This year, she came out to Insurance Growth Conference 2026.
Her goal? Getting her two newly-promoted team leads on board with her vision for her agency.
“I could see their wheels were turning. My one team lead, I could see her feverishly taking notes…Seeing the big picture, they were able to come back excited.”
Her team leads came back from the Insurance Growth Conference committed to developing their respective teams. With their commitment, Becky’s agency just hit a record month, selling $236,000.
She Found New Freedom
Becky is going to keep pushing her team to succeed, but she says success isn’t about the money.
Success is about unlocking new freedom for herself and her team. Becky can pay her team more. Her staff has bought homes and cars, and started families.
For Becky, success is about getting to visit her grandkids, who currently live in Thailand. She and her husband were originally going to visit her grandkids every other year, but now plan on visiting them twice a year. They just got back from their last trip in April, and her team hadn’t missed a beat.
“My team was doing the roleplays when I wasn’t even here…I didn’t have to be here for it to still take place”
Unsurprisingly, Becky isn’t slowing down. Her next goal for her team is to hit $350,000/month in P&C Premium. She’s getting her SDR’s licensed to become sales producers and planning to hire in the next year.
